MW GFM WEST MAY ARCHIVE

Please join other InterVarsity Graduate Christian Fellowship students and faculty May 19-21, 2006 for a refreshing retreat time of exploration and fellowship on the beautiful campus of UW Madison right on the lake front.

Our speaker, Andy Crouch, is a former IVCF staff member and is now the editorial director for the Christian Vision Project, a columnist at Christianity Today, and a member of the editorial board of 'Books & Culture', and a senior fellow of the International Justice Mission's Institute. He is the author of the forthcoming 'Culture-Makers' (IVP). More about Andy and culture making can be found HERE.

Charles Habib Malik, former president of the General Assemby of the United Nations, wrote, "more potently than by any other means, change the university and you can change the world."  Andy's topic for the conference is how we, as people of the academy, can participate in the kind of culture-making that can change the world.

Our seminar leaders inlcude : Cam Anderson, an artist and Dir. of Grad & Faculty Ministries for IVCF;  Tim Mackie & Charles Yu, dissertators at UW in Hebrew and Semitic Studies; and Dr. Steve Simmons, prof of Agronomy at the U of Minn.
